About Kristine
I've been around dogs almost my entire life. Except for a brief 'dog-less' period during my immediate post-college years, I've always been surrounded (sometimes literally) by dogs.
Growing up, my parents had a variety of dogs: A Sheltie, a Doberman and a Dachshund, to name a few. They also had twelve Siberian huskies--two complete sled dog teams!
When it was time for me to choose my own dog, I chose a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. One Cardi soon turned into two, and a few years after bringing home my first dog, I had three. I adore my dogs--they bring me so much happiness.
My interest in photographing dogs started with my desire to capture images of my own pack of three. I love the challenge of trying to get great photos of them just being themselves--whether they are playing, sleeping or just simply hanging out.
When I'm not photographing dogs, I'm usually training them. All three of my Corgis participate in a variety of dog sports--flyball, agility and obedience are among our favorites.
I hope you will enjoy looking at the photos that grace these pages--I had a wonderful time capturing them.
